The Augusta Margaret River Hawks Football & Netball Club was established in 1966 and is part of the South West Football League, the premier country football competition in WA.

Our club comprises League, Reserves and Colts AFL teams, and three women’s Netball teams who represent our club in the South West Football Netball League.  We currently have a player and membership base of approximately 600 members.

We have a very strong focus on club culture and in providing and promoting an inviting and social environment for families and individuals alike, where everyone has equal opportunity to participate and be involved. Our values are  ONE FAMILY… ONE VISION… ONE CLUB… RESPECT

Our club boasts facilities that include an AFL size oval, lighting suitable for twilight games, clubrooms for all events, change rooms, a well equipped kitchen & canteen, car parking and meeting room.

We have a strong junior system feeding into our club and are constantly working to ensure our future sustainability so that these players can continue along the pathway to involvement in senior sport.

We are a club that is very proud of our history and have enormous pride in past and present achievements.

2022 was another amazing year for the Hawks. We became Minor Premiers in both League and Reserves for the first time in the clubs 56 year history. Simon Moore took out the Hayward medal for the second year in a row and we won the flag in the League SWFL final against South Bunbury and made the Grand Final in the Reserves.

As dual reigning Premiers, the excitement is building as we prepare for the 2026 season.

OUR CLUB CHALLENGES

1. Facility Challenges

Our facilities require constant upkeep and servicing fees (power, water, insurances etc ) which are constantly rising. We need to upgrade our facilities for the future of our club through a carefully planned and staged approach to ensure we can meet the needs of future players and members.

2. Time Challenged Volunteers

Our volunteers are what keep our club afloat, without them we literally don’t have an organisation. We need to provide adequate training and support with up-to-date facilities, clear roles and most importantly, to recognise their contribution to our club.

3. Running a Professional Organisation

Community football and netball clubs are becoming more and more competitive. Coaches and players are exiting AFL/WAFL/WANL organisations with a high level of expertise with increasing demands.

For our club to remain competitive, we need to provide the highest quality coaches, facilities, first aid support, trainers and to be able to recruit elite level players. These all come at a cost.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Following a tough 2025 season, our focus for 2026 is to continue building our club community — creating an inclusive, welcoming space where members, supporters, and visitors can come together not just on game days, but throughout the entire year. Our commitment remains to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for people of all ages and backgrounds to connect, socialise, and celebrate local sport. This year we are excited to announce the creation of our inaugural Women’s football side. We have been working tirelessly to recruit new players and develop our existing youth players.

Over the off-season, we have been undertaking extensive renovations and improvements to our clubrooms and facilities to better serve our members and the wider community. These upgrades include enhancing spectator areas, updating amenities, and refreshing our social spaces to ensure the club remains a modern, accessible, and comfortable venue for all. We are continuing this work into 2026 as we invest in further improvements that will support our growing membership base and improve the overall experience for players, supporters, and visitors alike.

  • PLATINUM SPONSORSHIP $10,000 + GST

    These sponsors are the backbone of the club and will enjoy weekly exposure. These sponsors will receive:

    • Business logo on League Football Jumpers and League Netball Dresses.

    • Perimeter 6 metre sign on fencing on the main oval for 12 months. The sign, manufacturing costs and annual fee will be met by the club.

    • 2 x Club Social memberships.

    • 2 x Invitations to our annual Presentation evening.

    • 2 x complimentary entry to all home games.

    • 2 x club shirts.

    • Media Package – Facebook, Instagram, Website exposure.

    • Certificate acknowledging your sponsorship that we encourage you to display at your place of business.

  • GOLD SPONSOR $5,000 + GST

    These sponsors will be the ‘engine room ‘of our club and the key drivers for our strong future. These sponsors will receive:

    • Perimeter 6metre sign on fencing on the main oval for 12 months. The sign writing and manufacturing costs will be met by the club.

    • 2 x Club Social Membership.

    • 2 x complimentary entry to all home games.

    • 2 x club shirts.

  • SILVER SPONSORSHIP $2,500 + GST

    This sponsorship is a vital source for our club in providing mentoring and support for players and volunteers. These sponsors will receive:

    Perimeter 3 metre sign on fencing on the main oval for 12 months. The sign writing and manufacturing costs will be met by the club.

    • 2 x Club Social Memberships.

    • 2 x complimentary entry to all home games.

    • Media Package – Facebook, Instagram, Website exposure.

    • Certificate acknowledging your sponsorship that we encourage you to display at your place of business.

  • BRONZE SPONSORSHIP $1,000 + GST

    This sponsorship is vital in enabling us to provide trainers, tape and medical supplies on game day, both on and off the field. These sponsors will receive:

    • 2 x Club Social memberships.

    • 2 x complimentary entry to all home games.

    • Media exposure – Facebook, Instagram, Website.

    • Certificate acknowledging your sponsorship that we encourage you to.

  • GAME DAY SCOREBOARD SPONSORSHIP $500 + GST

    This sponsorship is devoted to your business on one game day. These sponsors will receive:

    • 2 x Club Social Membership.

    • 2 x complimentary entry tickets to your sponsored day.

    • Media exposure via continued updates on our media game day scoreboard.

    • Special mention at after game presentations.

    • Certificate acknowledging your sponsorship that we encourage you to display at your place of business.

  • PERIMETER FENCE & BEER GARDEN SPONSORSHIP

    Perimeter sign that the club will install. The sponsor is responsible for the cost of the sign to be made up.

    A 3 metre sign costs $400 + GST and a 6 metre sign costs $800 + GST. The annual fee to the club is $400 + GST for a 3 metre sign and $800 +GST for a 6 metre sign.

    The annual fee for a beer garden sign (subject to availability) is $500 + GST per annum. Only 3 metre sign are available in this area.

  • HAWKS SPONSORSHIP $250 + GST

    We need sponsors who can fill the gaps, for a smaller investment! If you are a smaller business or new to community sponsorship, this could be for you.
